SOFÍA'S PALOMA

Tall cocktail glass with ice cubes and two slices of grapefruit, displaying a Paloma tequila cocktail.

Ingredients

2 oz CASA J Tequila Blanco
1 oz fresh grapefruit juice

1 oz fresh orange juice

1 oz Cel-Ray soda

.5 oz lime juice

3x drops lime oil

Instructions

Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a tall glass and dip into thick celery salt. Place all ingredients other than the soda and lime oil into your cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 20 seconds. Place cubed ice into your glass. Pour the liquid into your glass, and top with soda until filled to the rim. Place three drops of lime oil onto the top of the drink. Slice a grapefruit wheel or two for garnish and enjoy.

This one's a true Jalisco classic. In the town of Tequila, México, this drink is served in a terracotta cup that keeps the drink cold, and it's called a Cantarito. We highly encourage you to visit Tequila for this exceptional, thirst quenching experience!

Adjustment

You can swap the Cel-Ray soda with grapefruit soda. For the Jalisco way, go with Squirt.

Pairs well with

Shrimp Ceviche — With jalapeño and lime

Tacos Al Pastor — Marinated pork with pineapple, onions & cilantro

Birria & Consome — A rich meat stew in a tortilla with a side of broth
